MYOB Team issue - cant add employee to Approving Manager

I have a new employee, she has completed the onboarding and i have added her as an employee in MYOB Team, however when i go to add her to a location it doesn't allow me to.  This has never happened before.  How can i add her if the available employee dropdown box says "no matches found"?

    Hi MBJackie,

     

    You're not doing anything wrong here. We've had a few customers run into the same thing and our dev team's onto it and actively working on a fix. In the meantime, you can keep an eye on the status and check out the current workaround here: MYOB. That should help you get things moving while we sort it out properly.

    Thankyou

    The issue is fixed, however another one has surfaced....i have added the new employee and sent an invite to join our roster, she receives the invite but when she clicks to create an account and she enters her email it says an account already exists, but she has never used the app before.  She has tried to create an account not using the invite and the same thing happens

    Me too. Hope it is fixed soon. I dont think we can do anything but wait.

    Same issue here, couldn't add the employees since last week. 

    We used to add the employee to the location so they could receive the invitation email to register with the MYOB team. Are they still able to register without being added to the location?

    Thanks for posting about the trouble adding your employee as an approving manager.

    I’ve had a look into this, and it turns out there’s a current issue with MYOB Team that our developers are already working on, so it’s not anything you’ve done wrong. 

    For now, there isn’t a solid workaround in the portal, so we’ll need to wait for the dev team to roll out a fix. Once that’s released, the approving manager list should start working as normal again.

    I am having the same problem with this feature and a new employee, I have gone through the check list, they are in my employees list but when I go to location and chose the approving manager they do not appear, this has never occurred before, is it a MYOB glitch? thanks Peter

    Hi Doreen

    Thanks, i have added them as an employee and i can see them on that tab, but When i click on locations and then try and add to my approving manager i can see all my current employees but just cant add my new one.

    Hey MBJackie,

     

    To make the employee appear in the location dropdown, you’ll need to add them in MYOB Team first before assigning a location. I’ve attached a link you can check for the steps on how to add an employee. Once that’s done, you should see them in the list without any issues.
