SMSF bungle

some time ago I set up SMSF for one of my employees.  Payment to this has gone well and no problems.  Happen to open a report to find that, since September, payments are still being 'processed'.  I 'think' it relates to the SMSF being set up incorrectly without correctly checking the 'self managed' box.  I can't change this of course.  Any ideas in relation to this would be great.

It is important to underline that everything was fine until September 2025.  But also the employee has checked their account and the payments have been deposited.

    I have managed to sort out the issue (spoke to the fund directly) but also found that the payments stuck in 'processing' have now been cleared. So good news all round.

    Nice pick‑up spotting that the payments are showing as processing. If the SMSF can see those contributions in the member account, the super’s been paid, the batch is just stuck showing Processing in the file. I’d leave those ones as‑is so you don’t accidentally pay them twice. If you find a batch in the file that doesn’t show up at the SMSF end, jump into MOCA, our virtual assistant for Live Chat, or lodge a ticket through My Account so the support team can check the Pay Super status in the background.
