STOP CHANGING THINGS!!

Here's an Idea, stop for the love of continuity, stop changing dash boards, button locations and simple actions! it is very hard to run a business and keep up with all your changes that are not really needed. This new dashboard is pushing itself and I am only just getting used to the last changes from the old dashboard that worked really well  for me! the latest update has removed the reset button for invoice searches completely which makes the user need to manually remove the search criteria.... it is very annoying!!

 

Is there a way to stop the updates?

    The response I got from Myob support - overall answer NO, 20 years plus using myob and format is getting worst. Please myob change back, even just the colours format and one really want is the search button on the right side, not left.

    Thanks for your support request in regards to the new bank transaction window.

    I understand that changes to established workflows can be frustrating and I do firstly want to apologise for any inconvenience the changes have made.

    To clarify however, the new bank transactions window is moving forward to be the standard experience and reverting to the previous layout will not be available. While some files may currently still display an option to switch back to the previous layout, this is a temporary transition measure and that option will be removed over time as we continue rolling out the new experience across all files.

    We recognise that the previous dashboard may better suit certain workflows so feedback is always welcome as our product team are continually working to improve functionality and enhance the user experience based on customer input.

    If you have specific workflows or issues please reply back advising. Alternatively, you can also post on the ideas exchange forum, contact feedback@myob.com or create a new support request. 

    Thank you for your understanding as we continue to develop and refine the platform.

    Good on you, thanks for that.  I have sent message before but dont get anywhere, very similar to microsoft i guess.  not much customer focus.

    I have sent an email via Myob practice dashboard help  - log a support case - via complaints and list of files with serial numbers, that I urgently need change back to clear and workable bank transaction dashboard. Lets see if get a response with 3 days

  • Is anyone from myob reading these requests? Is there are place to get this done?

  • oh my god yes. What have they done to the bank feeds and bank reconciliations! How can I undo what I just spent the last 2 hours trying to sort out.

    Do we need to send a list to out to our myob partners of the files we want change back urgently   to old bank feeds section, new one  not workable. Only send access change back on one or two files and need  this adjusted before the end fin year. Wish myob ask everyday users and your reply on this for there business and not AL. Think AL is helping its not.

  • Im seriously contemplating going back to xero in the financial year, pay a lttle more but stop the frustrations. I had the owner remove one of my previous posts due to my complaint regarding getting rid of the a.i. stuff.  I have a brain, know how to use it, dont need a.i. buttons cluttering my screen.  Put them as an option to the side if desired but not ram stuff onto my screen when all we need is a simple screen with a spreadsheet full of numbers with maximum screen utilisation.  Im a small enough business to do it fresh if things dont change here.

    Ditto.  The wasted space at the top is driving me nuts.  I have 2 large screens, but still seem to lose 1/3-1/2 to wasted white space at the top.

  • I completely agree, the people making the change are not the end users.  I do wish the programmers would listen to the end users. 

     

    Id also like to make an imporvement to remove the dead space at the top of any screen that cause me to use about 70% of my screen because there is wasted space up there and makes scrolling difficult.

    Can you please remove all those buttons and put them on the side so that scrolling is improved.
