Bank feed transaction approval is stuck - what happens if I just force-close MYOB?

I have one transaction on my bank feed that has been stuck for aaaaages. Maybe 15 minutes so far? I can't close the bank feed screen.

If I try to close, I get this error message. I can't stop the approval. It won't finish. Is it safe to force-close AccountRight and hope I don't corrupt anything in the background? It's really inconvenient. I can switch between accounts in bank feeds and other transactions can still be approved in seconds as usual but that one transaction is still stuck.

How long will it take to time-out? Do I just let it sit there all day while I work in other windows?

Re: Bank feed transaction approval is stuck - what happens if I just force-close MYOB?

So, in case anyone is interested for future reference, it stayed stuck all day. I was eventually able to contact livechat support who assured me that since the file is online I could force-close MYOB safely. Looking back, I guess it's no different to having an unexpected power outage.

It still took a few attempts to force-close it even using the task manager but it appears to have not damaged the file.
