Reconcilling fault

Why is this happening?  When I reconcile, it randomly pulls in a date from years back that has already been reconcilled and then i c it to the correct amount.  Is happening alot!  Freaking annoying!

Thanks for your post. I can see from the screenshot that there is a transaction from a previous year, which looks to be causing the issue.

Can you undo the current reconciliation, then undo each previous one until you get to a reconciliation with no out of balance. Then redo that reconciliation, then each of them going forward until you get to the current date.
