Accrual/Cash

Hi there

Is it possible to run a Balance Sheet on a cash basis rather than accruals?

Thanks

Lani

@LaniOUP

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information.

Simple answer is no.

The ONLY Cash based reports in MYOB are the two in the Small Business Entity under Accounts.cash repports.PNG

Re: Accrual/Cash

Thanks for that.

It is a bit disappointing.  With Quickbooks there is the ability to switch any report into cash/accrual as part of the filter before you run a report.

I'm surprised MYOB doesn't allow for that.

One of the problems with the QB model is that it gives a report tyhat is not a Balance Sheet. Flicking to cash basis in QBO removes the Receivables and Payables and you have a Balance Sheet that does not balance.

What numbers are you looking for as it may available from another report?
