Allocating rules for spend and receive money doesn't place a name in the card file?

I have only just started using the bank feed rules and now have notice that the card file field is empty.  This makes it difficult to search transactions.  I have always relied on the card file to be complete for searching data?

Hi @BooksbyMajella

AccountRight allows for Spend/Receive Money transactions generated by rules to have a card selected, it depends on the card the setup of that rule.

To include a card for a bank feeds Spend/Recieve Money's rule:

  1. Go to Banking>>Bank Feeds>>Manage Rules
  2. Select the New>>Spend/Receive Money or edit an existing rule
  3. Select Show Advanced options
  4. Add the desired card into the Card field:
