Can't restore online

Issues with restoring a backup file.

I have tried a few time and gettting connection errors.

 

Have tried again and now are getting an error re the file being checked out or being restored or no current subscription.

 

How can a reset the account so I can restore again?

Hi @MapleStCoop

 

Can you please reply with the Company File ID of the file you are trying to upload so I can check this against your account. You can find this in Help>>About MYOB Accountright. 

 

There are several reasons why you could be experiencing connection issues but the message regarding the subscription typically only occurs when you are trying to upload a file to the cloud and there is already one there. If the Company File ID is the same as the one already in the cloud, it will override the file currently there.

Thats for that.

But I worked all day on local copy in my library doing payroll etc.

 

Now when I try and upload this this file it says I need a subscription!!

Hi @MapleStCoop

 

To override an existing file in the cloud, you need to backup the file you have worked on and restore the backup file online, this will override the existing file. I have attached a help page below that outlines this process in detail.

 

 

About backing up and restoring company files

 

If you try to upload a company file that is in your library, it will deem it a new file and clash with the existing file in the cloud. 

 

If there is any difficulty with this process please let me know. We can always remove the file that is already in the cloud as it has not yet been accessed, but it will result in all the file users being removed and they will then need to be re-invited.

Yes - did a restore from a current backup and the restore worked fine with no connection errors as yesterday.
