probably becuase of driver settings the only work around was to make the second monitor the main , then it worked fine

Yes it works!

It's not the preference - lock window size, as this is already ticked.

I had issues with my second monitor attached to my laptop not working with MYOB.

I was unable to move the windows by clicking and holding on the title bar of each window (as usual), it only extends or decreases the size of the window. 

MYOB Technical helped me and suggested I changed the display settings to make the second monitor the default monitor in display settings of the computer. I did this and it resolved the issue. Thank you Anna.
