Closing off mid month

Our company is changing ownership and the effective date is the 15th of a month. I need to produce accounts as at that date, is there any way to split one month into two different periods?

Hi @gleakk 

Within AccountRight, certain reports are designed to take the month as a whole and include all transactions within that month.

If you were wanting one of these monthly reports to be for a specific period there is no easy way and you would probably need the assistance of your accountant. The closest solution would be to either run the monthly report or a report that contained the information, like the General Journal reports, to manually prepare the report for the desired period
