Confirming and activing file

Hi,

 

I am on MYOB accounting basic for ages as I have a simple company accounts.

Today, I open my file to make the usual accounting entry and I am faced with need to confirm my file.

When I click to confirm file online, it doesn't work and ask for me to activate file by calling MYOB.

Please help.

I have made a change to your account which should allow for that company file to be confirmed online. The change I have made should correct it now and going forward.

Nope, didn;t work.

Tried to confirm online and says problem activating file and to call support.

Please help

Hi @dlow2020 

 

Could you try that process again and let us know if you are still unable to confirm.

 

If you are still unable to confirm that file, we would need to grab the following information to investigate further:

  • The serial number in the company file - Setup>>Company Information
  • The company file ID - Help>>About AccountRight
  • The version of the program you are using - Help>>About AccountRight

The above information can be obtained by selecting to Confirm Later/placing the file into Read-Only mode.

Thank you.

I am just on the line now with MYOB Support.

I am on hold while they try to fix it.

I have just confirmed the file. It is good.

Can you to contact the support now to tell them all is good.

I don't want them to make other changes or think I am a crank call.
