Delete company file on line

Hi

I have a company file on line and need to remove this from Accounting Right on line and add a new company to online under my serial number.

Hi @KarleneP

 

To move your file offline:

  1. Take a backup of your online file. See Backing up for instructions.
  2. Restore the backup to the AccountRight library on your computer. SeeRestoring for instructions.

Deactive a company file

You can deactivate files that you no longer use by calling MYOB on 1300 555 151 or contacting MYOB Moderator. You will need to have the file ID ready for the data file you wish to have deactivated.  You will find this under the Help Menu >>> About MYOB AccountRight and you will see Company File ID in there.

Hi there @KarleneP,

 

If it's a completely different company file that you wish to put up online, you will need to have the current one removed, which is something that has to be done on our end.

 

I have sent you a private message requesting additional information so that I can go ahead and process this request for you.

 

Please do note that if it's a copy of the same company file (e.g. a back up file) that you wish to put up online instead, you can simply restore the back up file and choose the 'online' option while completing this process.
