Hello,
We have a problem with some Header Accounts in our accounts list having balances that do not add up correctly to those accounts allocated underneath them.
We have trawled through the forums and it seems that this has happened to others. We have already tried everything suggested in the other posts that we found:
- Rearranging accounts up and down to try to refresh the account balances
- Forcing a refresh of the balances by adding a new account
- Deleting cache files
None of these things have worked. I assume that the file needs to be checked as it has some kind of error/bug?

It sounds like the company file would need to come in for an investigation or possible repair. In saying that, would you mind providing us with a screenshot of the accounts impacted. Also, getting an indication of what you expect to be showing would be ideal.

Thank you so so much for replying, it is much appreciated. I would really like to get this problem fixed. I have attached 2 screenshots below that show the header accounts affected: 1-3001 Other Assets and 1-9000 Withholding Credits.
As you can see from the screenshots, these two header accounts have incorrect negative balances. The correct balances of these accounts should be 1-3001 Other Assets: $4,690.00 and 1-9000 Withholding Credits $0.00

Thank you for providing that information. It does appear that the Header account balances are incorrect. As such, I have arranged for the company file to be sent in for an investigation and possible repair. You should have a separate email outlining the process. All the information required is contained in that email but do let us know if you have any further questions.
