Huge negative inventory value

Hi there,

 

Is there anyone has the experience of the negative inventory value with positive quantitive on hand? I reckoned could be the problem incorrectly adjusted the value before, and I roll back to the earliest date of the data, but the value was already negative (please see the attached screenshot). 

 

I plan to adjust the inventory back to correct, but I doubt that if I allocat the adjusted amount (which would be a huge number) to any account, it could also generate problem to my financial report? 

 

Can anyone help me out of this problem, becasue there are some items have this problem.

Also can you please confirm if you are getting a negative value for all the inventory items or just a few?

Hi Riena,

 

Happy new year! Sorry for the late reply, I have backed from holiday last week.

Thanks for your help, I've tried to adjust the inventory, I could fix some of the items, but I can not

fix some items with huge number with it, and each time when I adjust it, the current value did not

fixed, instead the current value is keep increasing. I don't have any clue what is problem.

I saw some other post which mentioned that the MYOB team could have a look at the company file and

correct it, is that possible way to fix my problem?

Happy New Year to you as well. Hope you well deserving break was great!

 

I personally think you need to get help from one of the  MYOB Approved Partners and they will look at your file to troubleshoot your file thoroughly first before we look at any other options.
