EXPORT ISSUE - Unable to export excel reports from MYOB
Running the report, clicking export to Excel & it quickly loads then disappears and does nothing.
Have checked MYOB up to date, ran icon as administrator, and also checked excel settings.
Other users in the office on the same MYOB having no issues exporting to excel.
Is there any other fixes I can try?
GL CODE SEARCH ISSUE - When in reports & click on accounts to search on a particular GL code, when I type the GL code nothing shows up. The GL is definitely in the list & active. I instead have to scroll down and find out. All users in office having this same issue. What fixes this?

As your exporting issue appears to happen after clicking export (ie not a greyed out option), I found this post on the forums that may have similar symptoms to what you are experiencing. Please feel free to have a read of it and see if you think the steps offered are suitable for your issue.

With the GL code issue, so I am not misunderstanding you, are you referring to windows such as this one? If you are able to provide clarification on this it would be greatly appreciated in understanding what you are encountering better.

Thanks I will try those for the excel problem..
Yes that is the screen I mean. The GL is active, but when I search in there when I am on a report it doesn't show up. I have to scroll and find the GL

Thanks for confirming that. I was unable to replicate your issue on my machine, both from the reports menu and within the report itself. Can I ask what version you are running and on what hardware and software environment/system please?
It does sound like unusual behavior and I was wondering if this is a recent change or if it has existed for a while? I would also recommend that you try to clear the caches and do a fresh re-install of AccountRight to see if that will reset any behaviors.

Hi Andrew,
No good. I reinstalled MYOB AccountRight
Then I cleared my Caches and re-opened AccountRight and still not working
I have attached a screenshot to show you what I mean

Wow I just worked out what we were doing wrong!
I was just typing 11112 (whcih is what we used to be able to do)
Now I have to tpye 1-1112 for it to show up ....

@MaddieDixon is perhaps a little too polite to mention that this is another instance of developers playing where they had no cause to go. One can argue that it is only one more keystroke etc. In many cases it is many years of learned behaviour that has to be relearned because of an (apparent) unnecessary change. Worse still this change, like so many these days, comes without any explanation.
