This is becoming a real nightmare for us. At present we have only two people using MYOB as we cannot put anymore strain on it. I've contacted MYOB who have said it has to be a speed issue but that's not the problem as our speed is more than adequate. Also my PC performance is more than adequate also. All our PCs are brand new builds from our IT specialists so we are equiped for the size requirements.
It takes between 20 - 30 seconds for a screen to open once clicked on. Firstly the program goes to Not Responding then it eventually clicks in. While typing a name in it takes about 8 seconds to register and then it types out letter by letter. Needless to say it's becoming an extreme waste of working time and we need solutions.

Hi @HDG - welcome to the Community Forum !
Which AccountRight version are you using ? I expect you are using it Online.
Also, what sort of Internet connection do you have - e.g. ADSL, WIFI or NBN.
You may get faster performance if your users access your online file through a local server, that uses the included Server edition (your users would just use the PC edition).
For big tasks - e.g. a payroll for 10 or more - you might find faster processing if you Check-Out your file
Then run your payroll in Local mode and when finished, Check-In.
Note: After 1 July, you can still process your pays whilst working in Offline mode. Just ensure you have an active Internet connection when you finalise your pays - because the software will need to send a summarised copy to the ATO, under the new Single Touch Payroll scheme.

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a great source of information.
When it comes to performance issues, it's usually best to narrow down where the issue is. As my own personal files are quite snappy and so there is a difference in what's going on with your software and environment compared to mine.
I have detailed a lot of things to look at in another post similar to this, can I ask you to run through the replies there and let us know what you discover.
The post is: MYOB is so PAINFULLY SLOW
I look forward to seeing the results.
Yes the Clearwater file is 'quite snappy' - get hold of a file that is 200-300 MB in size, upload that and let us know how you get on. Then maybe get another user to log on as well.
I've tried playing around on the Clearwater file and it is slightly quicker 5-10 seconds to open a sales new service and the Not Responding is still happening as well.
Our file size is 764,868KB
P.S. Thursday mornings can be slow - as many businesses process their payrolls then.
