In July 2018 we upgraded our MYOB system from AccountRight Enterprise 19 to MYOB AccountRight plus to meet with STP compliance, it was confirmed on the phone by your team at that time that we will be getting a credit back for the unused portion of the annual subscription we have prepaid for the old version (MYOB Accounting Right Enterprise 19) once it's cancelled, however when I called MYOB today request cancellation I was advised by your team in a very impolite way that we can cancel the subscription however no refund or credit will be given – it is totally different to what I have been advised back to July 18.
We have started paying for the monthly subscription of the new version since July 2018, it is unreasonable for MYOB to charge double subscription fees for both versions under one serial number, or not allow a refund of the old version.
We request this matter to be resolved asap.
