My Trial Balance is out of balance- please help

Hi,

 

I am posting here because my trial balance is out of balance and I need assistance. I have looked at the bank reconciliation, some consolidation jnls and the opening balances. This is rather urgent if someone could contact me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge


I can see you do have an out of balance Trial Balance as such we do need to arrange for the company file to be sent in for an investigation and possible repair. Looking at the report it looks like it has come from the AccountRight 201x range, can you confirm what exact version of the software you are using? This can be checked via Help>>About AccountRight.

Thank you for confirming that information.

I've sent you a direct email with all the details in regards to getting that file sent in for an investigation and possible repair. All the information required is included in the email but do let us know if you have any questions about the process. Also while we have the file we do encourage you to continue to work on the company file, the repair team will be in contact once they have taken a closer look at your file.


We don't have an exact timeframe we can provide for that datafile investigation and possible repair. It does depend on the error, we may have a tool which can be used to repair or the file or in some cases a more thorough investigation is may be required.
