I note that there is a previous thread for my problem which is closed.
When attempting to backup my file to the server i get the message "Network name not found" despite full access to the path. This means I cannot backup to my server.
Hopefully MYOB fixes this problem rather than close down threads
Support recognised the problem but was unable to fix it.
Mine I suspect occurred after I rolled over the financial year although this may have nothing to do with the problem
Now I need to backup on the network client and manually copy the zip file to my server that houses the company file.

Thank you for your post and sorry this is occurring for you.
What we found in previous investigations is that this error is often caused by a network permission on the computer preventing 3rd party applications such as AccountRight to run without error. Unfortunately, given it is a network setting on your computer, you'd need to have an IT professional change those settings.
Before going fourht with the above, you may want to try to back up the files on both the local desktop on the server and the workstations and check if any of them is working. In case it doesn't work, you could also try copying the file from the actual library location manually and saving it in a location where you would have saved the backup in ideal circumstances.

Dear Support,
thanks for your reply.
I have had sharing professionally reviewed and it is set up and working for all other programs.
At the moment I cannot backup even to the local network computer. The server works normally.
I suspect a new install on the netork client machine would be an option.
Guide on how to uninstall and reintall would be great??
