New Company

Hello

I am using Accounting Right standard/plus

I want to create new company for accounting purposes on MYOB.  When i am choosing option to create , there is an option to choose Australia or New Zealand. What happens if company is not located in these two countries ?

Hope hearing from you soon

Re: New Company

Hi @Ken10

The language is designed this way as the software is specifically designed for the tax regulation laws of those 2 countries.

That said, for you to create a Company File despite not having a business based in either Country you just need to choose the Country for which the Licence you purchased it from.

You can determine this from the Serial Number;

  • If your MYOB Serial Number starts with 61; This is an Australian Serial Number, choose Australia when creating a Company File.
  • If your MYOB Serial Number starts with 64; This is a New Zealand Serial Number, choose New Zealand when creating a Company File.

For anyone that has a Serial Number that starts differently (IE: 60 or 65), it's most likely a Serial Number licenced to ABSS Asia, see their contact details here: ABSS Asia Contact Us

If you have any questions at all, feel free to reply to this Post.
