Outlooks asks to choose profile

Hi,

 

My request is for AccountRight Premier running on Windows 7 32 bit with Microsof Outlook 32 bit.

AccountRight Premier asks to choose profile for every document to be emailed:

I tried to fix it following the topic Emailing invoices to clients http://community.myob.com/t5/Getting-started-with/Emailing-invoices-to-clients/m-p/211569/highlight/...

  1. Click the Windows Start button and choose Control Panel.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Programs tab.
  4. Click Set Programs.
  5. Click Set your default programs.
  6. Select Windows Live as your email program.
  7. Click Set this program as default.
  8. Click OK

---------------------------------------------

But it did not work.

 

Can you please help with this issue?

 

 

 

BTW, there was also an issue when Microsoft Outlook requires authorisation each time the documents are to be sent. To fix this issue, actions were taken as follows:

 

- Microsoft Outlook: File-Options-Trust Center-Trust Center Settings-Programmatic Access, "Never warn me about suspitious activity" selected. (no result though).

 

- registry was edited:

Registry editing - success, Microsoft Outlook does not ask permission to send emails any more.

Hi @dfed 

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

I have found that Outlook behavees like that if:-

  1. Outlook is not up and running (open) at the time you email a document from MYOB
  2.     AND
  3. More than one Profile has been set up on your computer

My simple solution is to 1st open Outlook with your selected profile before you attempt to send from MYOB.

It works now.

Being running, Microsoft Outlooks does not ask for profile.
