Re: Administrator Password

Hi @Suzannemoss

When you are migrating a company file from AccountRight Classic (v19) to AccountRight 2018 you do need to have the Administrator username and password for that company file. Note: you are not able to change the User ID field to show another user ID and upgrade via that user ID.

If that is not known, you would be looking at trying the default user login details, which will be Administrator and no password i.e. select OK/Upgrade. If that doesn't allow access and the Administrator password for a company file can't be guessed/remembered you would be looking at sending that company file in for a Password Reset. Do take a look at MYOB Data File Repair Services for information on that process. If you would like to arrange that service do let us know and we can arrange for the service to be started for you.

Kind Regards,
Steven
