Hi MYOB,
I would like to know how do you reverse or adjust for a salary sacrifice payment? It has been returned by the super fund because the employee does not qualify for salary sacrifice in terms of age and number of hours worked. Do I do a payrun with ADJSUPER against salary sacrifice with positive amount? How do I clear the salary sacrifice from the Pay Super window?
Thanks
Kim

Please see our help notes on Reversing and reprocessing superannuation payments for details. Basically it depends on whether or not the super fund has returned the super to you, and whether you need to pay it out again.
The help note above as well as Checking and adjusting superannuation goes into detail how to do these things. Please do let me know if you need any further help at all.

Hi Stuart,
I have reversed the Pay Super transaction and reprocessed successfully paid super contributions. Also processed through payroll against salary sacrifice (ADJ SUPER) with a positive amount $60 (debits super payable a/c)as I found processing with a negative amount of -$60 credits super payable a/c. I want to know how do you get rid of the 2 entries of $30 each remaining in the Pay Super window for Salary sacrifice.
Thanks Kim

So you should be able to see these payments in the Payroll->Pay LIabilites window. SImply change the liability type to Superannuation, and select a wide enough date range for these payments to show up. Tick the box next to the payments you want to include and press Record. This should clear any payments from the PaySuper window as well.
Please do let me know if you need any further help at all.
