Sent Emails Log - not displaying anything

The email log is showing no entries for today. We check this daily to make sure all emails have sent correctly. I expanded the date range to display those emails I know to have been sent earlier in the week, but still no joy.

Hi @seqtt

 

Just testing this situation on my online company file, emails are sending correctly and appearing in the Sent Emails windows as intended. Are you able to see if that is the case for yourself?

We are also having the same problem, no emails appearing apart from 2 that we have sent about half an hour ago. This is a major issue for our company.

We are also having the same problem, no sent emails are appearing. This is a major issue we need to see and refer to all emails sent.

We are currently investigating the ability to view historical emails in the Sent Email Window. As mentioned, previously it appears that current emails do appear to be sending and reporting correctly in the Sent Emails window.

 

We apologise for the inconvenience, we’re looking into the cause right now and we do realise how important it is to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Hi @Steven_M,

Just send an invoice to my Outlook email. Has sent correctly and is showing in the Sent Email Log - still no historical emails though

Hi Steven,

Not only can't I get historical email info, when I got to the print/email invoice option I'm presented with a list of details of invoices that relate to years ago (not the case prior to 2018.4.1). I've checked these invoices and all have 'already printed/emailed' as the status. This is in both Print & Email. Also a past invoice that I am trying to resend to a client using (A/R) does not appear in invoices to be emailed despite its status of 'To be Emailed'.

Sorry, was looking at statements not invoices. All OK with current emails, still no historical info.

I've just heard from the team, they believe they have found the problem and they are working on getting the service to correctly begin showing new emails being sent, then will work on getting historical emails afterwards.

 

I don't have any specific timeframe on when both fixes come in, however they are still working on this and we will post more once we have more info.
