Set up MYOB team - link the User ID

I attemting to set up MYOB Team

According to Help the check box ubder Password "Link the User ID to the my.myob account" appears.

This does not happen for me.

Any ideas please.   Colin

Hi @Over-Boots 


This generally happens if a user has linked the email address for their my.MYOB account to a specific User ID in their file. In order to get that screen, login to your company file as an Administrator and then: 

 

  • 1.Go to Setup>>User access
  • 2. Select the User ID which is being logged in automatically
  • 3. Untick “This user will sign on with their my.MYOB account

 

After that is done, log in to your file again and you should be able to see that screen. Let me know if you have additional questions.

Hi @Over-Boots 


Please be advised that your company file needs to be online to be able to set up MYOB Team. If it's offline, you won't be able to see any of these options. In case it's already online and the options are still not available, send us your serial number by a Private Message so we can investigate further.

I have now uploaded the company file however the file is no longerf available when logging onto MYOB.

How to i go about this?

I am now getting repeated restarts when attenptting to log on. I have the problem before and tracked it doen to ESET our virus package however i have had it paused.

We can attempt to resolve this particular error by running an online script on your company file. So we can organise that, please send us your serial number and name of the company by Private Message.

Thank you Colin. Can you please take a backup of your file and log out of the file once it's done. Confirm once you have done both these things so we can run the scripts.


ALso, confirming are you using version 2020.3?

 

Kormal the problem is that I cannot get into MYOB at all as the restarts happen when logging in.

I do have a backup frrom Friday though..

Yes I am using that current version.
