Solved: Go to Solution

Setting up user Access MYOB Account Right

User Setup has dissappeared from a client AR 2016.2.1 file.  The file is Online and and I have switched User to Administrator but the Manage Users option does not appear in Setup.

 

Where am I going wrong?

Hi @AMSBookkeeping

 

User Access is controlled by the User role that the particular user has access to. I would recommend getting a user that can access the User Access window. Once in that window, select the required user on the hand side and see what role has been selected for them on the Right. When you have looked at what role they are linked to you can select the Manage Roles tab (top left of the window) and see what windows/features that particular roles has access to. If you want them to have access to the User Access window, the User Access option in the General section needs to be ticked for their role.

It seems my client and I have lost access to the User Access window somehow, we are the only users and both have admin access.

 

I will ring tech support and see if I can reinstate User Access.
