Show zero balances in Profit and Loss Report

Hi there

We have just upgraded to Accountright Live from V19.

When we run the P&L we need all zero balances to show so that we can upoad to excel reporting spreadsheets.

Eventhough we have selected the tick box for "include zero balances", the report does not show any accounts with zero balances.

Can you advise how we make this work.

Cheers

Re: Show zero balances in Profit and Loss Report

Hi @PoppyR

This can happen if you're running the report in the browser version. In order to fix this, check that all the header account names are unique, as if there are multiple header accounts with the same name they get hidden on the report .  For example, if 9-0000 the Other expense account is called 9-0000 expense the Pnl will look at this thinking the 9-0000 expense accounts are already in the Pnl, hence why it hides them from the report

Try accessing the online file through the desktop, to run the PnL report. This will have all accounts listed and the correct figures.

Kind regards,
Komal
