Something's gone wrong, can't process pay in the new financial year

I am unable to process one company payroll.  Accountright Error comes up "Something is wrong and Accountright needs to close".  When clicking on the check for a solution it comes up with System.ArgumentException.

We are not on the cloud and operate within laptop.

Can you advise the solution so I can pay the employees tomorrow.

Last 4 digits of the serial No. 7320

Thanks

Re: Something's gone wrong, can't process pay in the new financial year

Hi @Kim01

Thank you for your post. We have seen a number of users attempting to process their first pays in the new payroll year encountering a Something has gone wrong message with the following error log information:

Code:

System.ArgumentException

Message:

An item with the same key has already been added.

This is currently under investigation by our team and does appear to be impacting only offline (locally stored) company files.

For users that do have an Active AccountRight Live Subscription with a free space, uploading the file to the cloud via File>>Go Online (Upload this File) will alleviate this message and allow those pays to be processed in the new payroll year. Company files can then be restored locally via backing up (File>>Backup) and restoring that file (File>>Restore) is required to remain local

If you are unsure if you do have an active AccountRight subscription with a free space, please send me a private message with your product serial number and file ID of your file (This can be found by going to Help > About MYOB AccountRight) so that I can check for you.

Cheers,
Melisa
