We encounter problem since we purged our file and the error messages has been:
Termination code 1209 Error -3000 in DMNextRecord (5049:7000:158)
Reading from other threads in here, we tried to optimise the file but another error message appears:
"An error occurred while attempting to compact the database. DM Error = (-3000-5049-7000-158)
Can anyone advice. And if need to sent the file to MYOB for repair/maintenance, please advice to whom we need to send the file to.
FYI - Our File size is only 91.5MB

Terminations errors are a sign of a file corruption. Trying to Optimise will either fix the corruption or confirm the file needs repair - as in your case. Sounds like something went wrong during the purge. A minor network interruption is all it takes. Unless you have a backup which you can restore and re-enter new transactions, you will need to get the file repaired, either by MYOB or there are others who also repair MYOB company files (including after hours and on weekends).

Given its a weekend, it may be quicker to get the repair done by another repairer. PM me for contact details if interested.
Thanks for the feedback. Have been in contact with MYOB AUS with regards to the problem and requested for it to be fixed.
