Solved: Go to Solution

User Access

Invited my secretary to be user of the file. Sent invitation, she accepted the invitation, navigated to page where she need to enter name and password. Proceed and the following line appears.

This invitation can’t be accepted at this time. Contact the person who sent you the invitation

I am the person who sent the invitation & i have no clue why it is declined and what to do next?

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge


I'm sorry to hear that you have been receiving that particular error message when that user accepts the invite.

I have taken a look at your account and I can see you have invited the email address sales@xxxxx.xx as a file user. Currently at our end this is showing as pending (i.e. the invitation has never been accepted).

I also note that the particular email address you are inviting currently doesn't have a my.MYOB account. I would recommend doing the following steps:

  1. Logging into your my.MYOB account and cancelling that user invitation (Manage AccountRight Live>>Online file access>>Actions>>Delete)
  2. Setup that email address with a my.MYOB account - Register
  3. Once that user has been setup with a my.MYOB account, reinvite that particular user to the AccountRight file.

Thanks. I canceled the invitation & signed out. I went to registration of new user using my AR serial number. I received the following message: Sorry we can not log you in at this time. What did i do wrong?

Hi @Tal

 

I've manually registered that email address with my.MYOB account  on your account. Do let us know if you have received the confirmation email in regards to that setting up and if you can login to my.MYOB using that email address.

Thanks Steven. However, I didn't receive the confirmation email on any of the addresses. I will try to login the user later when back to office.

I invited the user again, he accepted the invitation & entered his credentials. Same message again: This invitation can’t be accepted at this time. Contact the person who sent you the invitation.

Hi @Tal

 

I'm sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with that user's invitation to the company file in the cloud. So we can investigate further would you mind private message me the email address that you are using to invite that user to the company file.

 

Along with that would you supply a screenshot of the message and when exactly it is occuring. How to take a screenshot would be able to assist with that if you are unsure on how to complete that
