User access

Hi all

What is the difference between the administrator  and accountant/bookkeeper access?

why would an accountant require administrator access?

We have been using myob accountright for a long time but have a new accountant.

Re: User access

Hi @daneth

The main differences between the default Administrator role and the default Accountant/Bookkeeper role is that the Administrator role has access to the User Access window and the ability to change the product. Outside of this the two roles have access to the same functionality within the software.

Its ultimately your preference as to which user role to assign to a user on your file.

Regards,
Neil

Re: User access

Hi Daneth,

An accountants role is good enough for an accountant to be able to do the work you pay them for and is all that

is genuinely neccassary. To want you to give them online administrator access means they want to have total

control as in user access (change or invite others) etc etc and you should tell them no if your not comfortable and

dont want this.

Cheers

Jenny
