Wrong conversion year at set up

Hi there,

I have just realiased that my conversion year is not correct. I wanted to record details from March 2020 onwards but just realised that I had my conversion year commencing as April 2021 instead so MYOB is not allowing me to record from anything.

Please advice. What can I do?

Thank you.

Re: Wrong conversion year at set up

Hi @Henzy_b

Once a company file has been set up the conversion month is set and is not able to be changed.

If you are needing a different period set for that conversation month a new company file would need to be created with the appropriate period and any data re-entered into that new file.

Kind regards,
Steven

Hi Steven_M,

Thank you for your reply. It is noted.

My MYOB is only set to have only 1 access. Is it still possible to create a new file? Would i need another Seriel number for the new file?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Wrong conversion year at set up

Hi @Henzy_b

We can arrange for the deactivation of the original (incorrectly setup) company file. This will free up the slot for that new file to be created if required.

I have sent you a private message on this Forum to arrange for that deactivation to occur after confirming some company information.

Kind regards,
Steven
