Re: error message

Hi @SW_Industries

Personally, I haven't come across this particular error message or a similar one. However, looking into it you appear to be using an item layout and the message is prompting for an account to be selected. As such I would be making sure that ALL the items on that purchase have a linked account selected for them. This can be done by going to the Inventory>>Items Lists and selecting the relevant item to ensure that you have an account selected in the Profile tab for each of the options ticked.

If you all items do have an account selected we would require additional information to the transaction and situation where the error message occurs: for example;

  • When exactly does the message get generated? when you are selecting the Items or when you are selecting Record
  • Does it happen with all purchases? Or only certain ones?
  • Does it happen if only a particular item is selected on the purchase or do all items generate the message?
  • Does it happen for one particular supplier or multiple?
  • How was the transaction generated i.e. has it comes from an order that you have converted? Was it imported? Was it added via the To Do list? Was it entered manually via the Enter Purchase window?
  • Is the transaction dated appropriately for the company file i.e. is it in a lock period or a previous financial year?
  • Have you been able to enter purchases into this company file before?
  • Are you able to enter other transactions without the error occurring?

Kind regards,
Steven

Re: error message

Hi Steven,

Yes, All items have a linked account so I just try to restart my software and it works.

Thank you anyway.
