import journal

I have followed the "using an import template" instruction from your website, after export the template from test company, then I try to import into MYOB, which showing the error-17 : Invalid credit amount.

i have use export data and only change the date, so if the export data from test company which already exist in MYOB, how come when I try to import and showing the error message? below is the error message.

records imported without errors.
0 records imported with warnings.
1 records skipped.

Summary of errors
Error -17: Invalid credit amount.

-17       249 "$3,266.00" P 1/10/2021 N 0 Y Accrue ACC to budget
            711 "$3,266.00" P 1/10/2021 N 0 N Accrue ACC to budget

Hi @Sarahalexander , welcome to the forum. Looks like you prepared the text file in Excel first, then saved it as a text file. Excel has added quotes around the fields with commas, ie the amounts over 1,000. Try formatting the amount fields as general, then save as text file.
