Hi,

I recently discovered a issue that might be an easy fix for MYOB. We sell steel, and in the "buying details" under "number of items per buying unit" it won't allow you to use a decimal place. This was ok so we just talk in mm. This is fine until our lengths of steel are 12m long or 12,000mm. Issue is it won't allow you to go to 5 decimal places either. So now we have to use 2 different buying mearsurements. 1 being in mm and the 2nd one being in M. Would this be something possible to fix next upgrade?

An extension of this solution would be to provide metric or SI prefixes for multipliers.  Quoting from Wikipedia,

https: // en .wikipedia. org/wiki/Metric_prefix

"in which the exponent of ten must be divisible by three (i.e., they are powers of a thousand, but written as, for example, 106 instead of 10002). As an alternative to writing powers of 10, SI prefixes can be used,[1] which also usually provide steps of a factor of a thousand."

and

"Each prefix has a unique symbol that is prepended to the unit symbol. The prefix kilo-, for example, may be added to gram to indicate multiplication by one thousand: one kilogram is equal to one thousand grams. The prefix milli-, likewise, may be added to metre to indicate division by one thousand; one millimetre is equal to one thousandth of a metre."
