I am currently setting up a Child Support payment for one of our employees and have come across a real issue.
The parameters around the payment are that it's a set amount to be deduction only it is only deducted once the employees Net Pay reaches a certain threshold.
There is no way to enter these parameters on the deduction category which I find absolutely crazy so the only current solution is to set it up as a 'User Entered Amount' Deduction and manually calculate this each payroll.
This is extremely annoying and could easily be forgotten and is open to human error in calculating.
Seems very backwards to me for something I would think could be easily fixed?
