Hi There!

When you frist open MYOB, any recurring transactions that have fallen due since you last started MYOB are posted and then displayed in a Notification window.

The Notification window has a Green Ciricle Arrow at the top right that allows the contents of the window to be refreshed.

Each Transaction line has a blue arrow on the left hand side that allows you to edit the transaction.

If you edit a Transaction that is showing in the Notification window (change date***) and save that transaction, the edits are not reflected in the list of Transactions in the Notification window.

If you sellect the Green Cicrcle Arrow to refresh the contents of the Notification window - the Transactions still show the old (now incorrect) information.

Either:

Remove the Green Arrow.  It doesn't seem to have any effect on the contents.

Or:

After selecing the Green Arrow - Update the contents of the window to reflect the actual transacations that are being posted.

Thanks for your help.

*** This is only a problem because if you don't open MYOB for a while - recurring transactions are not recorded on the "due date" - but they are recorded using the "today's date".  So you could just fix that underlying problem instead.  Mentioned here: http://community.myob.com/t5/AccountRight-Idea-Exchange/Record-recurrent-transactions-with-due-date-...

"Recurring Transactions  Notification Window not updaring"

Current Status: Done
Last Changed: December 2016

Hi Everyone

With AccountRight 2016 when a recurring transaction is recorded manually the transaction will be removed from the Reminder List window.

Do note that if you do only have the one transaction in the list you will have to adjust/record the transaction and select the Close option on the Reminder List window
