Please add ALLOCATED MEMOs to HIDE/SHOW box in REPORTS - JOB-Transactions. This was a feature in 19.9 but has been omitted from 2013.2. This is a feature that is required by our company. Because it is missing I now have to revert back to 19.9 and redo 3 weeks work.......Not happy.
"Detailed Job Report"
I support this request - it was an option in V19 (classic) and we were using it almost daily...
I too support this list.
I would consider reverting back to v19 due to this oversight alone!
We use jobs to represent each department. Every month I send them a listing of all their transactions to review/confirm what's been coded to their department. Now they have a listing, but with no details. Useless!
In the previous version 19.5 this report has an allocation memo field which doesn't appear in v2016. Can I please have this field to allow me to report as previous
If you look at the Job Detail report I think you will find the Allocation Memo.
You may need to Modify to Show the field if it does not appear first up.
I spent a lot of time on the phone with MYOB today. Its definately not there, the 2016 specialist at MYOB asked me to post this for the team to see and action. I think you may be confusing the job transaction report with the job detail accrual report.
Yes I was referring to the Job Activity Detail report, which does show the Allocation Memo, see below. However this is sub totalling everything by each GL Account whereas I guess the Job Transaction report is subtotalling by Job Number.
Would the following layout help?
This is a Job Detail report run in our Business Intelligence Software BI4Cloud. The Trx Description is the Allocation memo. You can present the data in may different ways, this one is at transaction detail Subtotaled by Job Number.
It can be exported to Excel or set up to auto email and or filter by Job, Job Header, Job Manager etc.
You can try this on your data to see if it will help you.

I think I would rather just request the development team for account right add the allocation memo field to the Job Transaction Report to allow me to report as previous and use current excel templates that we have already without having to modify them , rather than spend money on an additional product to do a not quite the same thing.

Thanks for your feedback and its great to see that @Jennifer_Kelly has offered her assistance in regards to producing that report.
I have merged idea with this similar idea that has already been included on the AccountRight Idea Exchange.
However I can confirm as requested that all ideas and comments are passed onto the program development team for their possible inclusion in future releases of the program.
Is it possible for you to send a link to the "similar idea" so those of us hanging out for this fix (it really is a fix - not a new request - it used to be available and now it's not), can make sure we've voted for the other idea?
