Sales/Purchases: Include date column for Item layout

I need a date column for items purchased. It would be good if a layout the same as time billing sales that allow items purchased to be entered on time billing sales. I have purchases that occur daily but are invoiced monthly. At the moment I am inputting headers as the dates which is time consuming. Ideally I would like to be able to import the purchase without any data entry, another suggestion would be MYOB able to import PDF files and convert them to purchases.
