Sales Register: Add Job number column

We have many invoices to the same client but for different jobs. It would be nice to have the job numbers in a column on the Sales and Purchases registers for fast cross-referencing, rather than having to open each invoice in the sales register (or purchases register) to find the one we want.

We are a project-based company and most of our transactions revolve around individual jobs.

It would be a huge timesaver if there was a column on the Sales, Purchases and Bank registers that showed which job/s transactions were posted to.  Could you possibly look into this please?

Inclued a column in the Sales Register to show the Job number associated with each invoice.

Please show job number in purchases/sales register without drilling down on each invoice. I know it can be done as it was available in older versions of MYOB.

Can MYOB please add the option in the Sales and Purchase Orders columns to add specific things you can use to search for?

 

The biggest thing i would like to see is a JOB column so if you have multiple invoices for the one customer you dont have to open each one individually you can just look in the job column pick the job you are after and proceed to open it.

 

At the moent you have a Promised Column in here but you can only enter Numbers no letters.

 

Would be great if it was more like excell where you can create data you need then sort it to suit your needs.

I am wondering whether it is possible to display the job numbers in sales and purchase registers and to sort them based on job numbers.

I would be thankful if some one could come out with an answer.

So what does this mean? Does it mean MYOB are going to add this in the next update?

Previously, this particular idea had that idea status of Clarification needed. As we have had clarification on what that particular idea is referencing we have updated the status to Open.  Do please see article: Changes to our Idea Exchange pages for more information on the updated status.

This would be a great option as we are growing and at moment we are having to change the PO number to the job number once converted to a bill, which is a long winded way to trying to get what we want.  Even a report with the job number as a column would be good.
