Hi Myob
Can you please STOP Tax Invoices printing as an Adjustment Note should the Balance Due be Less then $0.00 when using AR2018.4.1, ideally it should only price as a Adjustment Note when the Total INC GST is less then $0.00 not the Balance Due.
I guess it has always been like this.
It is Valid to have a Tax Invoice with an overpayment which doesn't make it an Adjustment Note.
We often get the case when a customer is picking up stock but we are short one item.
We invoice what they take, put the item on back order and apply the full payment to the invoice.
Thiis is so we can show on the Tax Invoice under "Paid Today" what they paid.
When we receive the goods goods from the supplier, we will change the order to the Invoice and then apply the credit. We do becuase is useless when payment are applied to an order and its recorded as a deposit. Not being able to delete a deposit $*#$ especially when its applied to the wrong clearing account ie EFTPOS not Amex. So company rule is never apply a payment to an order. if we need to take a deposit we only ever apply it to an invoice so we can edit the payment if needed (guess this is another MYOB short coming)
