Either one of two things.

1) Certain users are restricted to certain jobs.

2) Users have a "default" job that is entered into transactions by default.

I personally would prefer number 2, but the first one would also help.

Keep in mind that some Essentials users are not-for-profit organisations - e.g some community services in  remote indigenous  communities.

These organisations receive government grants for various projects and services  -  and would like use Jobs in Essentials the same way Jobs in AccountRight can be used for tracking project, grant or department income and expense.

Those that running Essentials on Macintoshes currently can't upgrade to AccountRight Live 2015
(as AccountEdge Live isn't yet available).

Having Jobs in Essentials - and perhaps a link to Calxa - will makle their grant reporting much easier.
