Hi,   When you are entering data into the line items for a Time Billing invoice, the system will automatically pop up the Activities box, so you can click on an activity.   The issue with this is there is a delay in the box appearing which really slows down data entry via keyboard. Previously you could start typing and the list would auto reduce, you could then arrow onto the correct choice and tab off the field. Nice and quick.   When you have significant activity data to enter this is a real speed issue.   Client had stayed on v19 due to speed advantage (and lots of data to enter), so after moving to AR Live it's very noticable.   Cheers, Liam    "Remove auto pop up of Activity field in Time billing invoices to speed up data entry"     ... When entering Multiple Time Billing Slips the date will usually auto-populate to the same date as the last line entered, which is great, but if try to change this after I have entered data on that line, it will change to the current month. Eg, The date today is 02/06/2015, I'm entering data for last month, say 20/05/2015. If I enter the customers name, and then try to change this date to the 21/05/2015 it will then change the month to 06. I know its only a few more numbers to type, but its unexpected and usualy tab out of that box before I realise MYOB wants to live in the future. :)   Also the date range at the top (which is a excelent feature) always reverts back to the defult current month. If I enter last month (01/05/2015 to 31/05/2015) then press record the date will change to the current month (01/06/2015 to 30/06/2015)   Any way to make life a little more simplier and get MYOB to remember my dates that are entered for the session?   "Month updating to current month when entering data" Date will correctly populate from last one entered, reclicking into that field will change it to be the current date. ... In my haste to enter I often find that I start a line I dont need..................   Then I cannot delete it    If I try to record the entries I have completeed with a line with only a date in it it comes up with   you have entered very little information do you still wish to record it   I answer yes please   It then doesnt and we start again   You cant erase the line through edit as it has no record of the line as it isnt recorded   so I have to make up a dummy line record it then go back and delete it   Can this please be rectified   Thanks   "entering multiple time billing entries" ... In the Time Billing - Activity Information screen, could a manual field be added for Activity Cost ? This would help non-profits and business billing for their services to disabled people, billed under the National Disability Insurance Scheme - as they need to track their unit cost, for each activity. Mick Devine from Calxa has written a Unit Costing guide for NFPs, now that a user-choice fee-for-service approach has been brought into govrnment funding of disability care, and having this field in the Activity Info scree - plus reporting optikons - would help these services track their activity costs.   "Time Billing - Activitity Cost field please" ... It would be extremely useful if more characters could be inserted into the notes field of an activity slip.  Any chance this can be incorporated into the next upgrade? We currently use activity slips to record staff activities and client billing. We've noticed that even if we select Lock Period we are still able to enter activity slips prior to that date.    Example: Lock Period - disallow entries prior to 1/7/15. However we have found that we can still enter activity slips dated 1/6/15.   We have since been advised by MYOB that the lock period function does not work for activity slips or timesheets as activity slips and timesheets do not affect the general ledger.    This has been an issue for us particularly if staff have not noticed that they entered the wrong date when entering activity slips. On a number of occassions they've entered an entry as say 1/5/15 instead of 1/6/15 and thinking that they haven't entered the information when they run a report, they have entered again at the correct date.    End result is that the client may be charged twice, or for activities in the wrong period.    It would be great if the lock period function could also be applied to Activity Slips and Timesheets.    "Lock Period so Activity Slips Cannot Be Entered" ... While you can consolidate Time Billing Activities on an invoice, it would be handy to be able to consolidate by date.   We may have multiple entries on a date for the same Activity, and this is all I want consolidated, not for the complete invoice.   "Consolidate Activities on Invoice" ... It would be very handy to be able to allocate a job to a non chargeable activities.  We do R&D and need to track staff costs by job coding, however it is not chargeable and you cant have a chargeable activity without selecting a customer.  Effectivley we have invoices to raise for a nil value.   "Activity / Job coding" ... I would be great to have a setting option to modify the "Consolidate Activities on Invoice" so when it consolidates, it still maintains the different days worked.    This is for when we have multiple workers on the one job for the one day the activities are consolidated, but it wouldn't consolidate the other days worked, even though they are the same acticvity.   With out this option, the Consolidate Activities on Invoice option is useless to our business.   "Options for Consolidating Activities on Time Billing Invoice" ... The following is a list of suggested improvements to the time sheet entry in MYOB Accountright. These changes will speed up entry times.   The employee has entered their name at sign in so the employee field could default to their name. Base hourly should be default in the payroll category field, the drop lis tof payroll categories down could remain.  Activity – only activities assigned to the employee should appear in the drop down. Customer name – This field could auto-populate when the job number is entered. I notice the the WIP button is able to be used when creating an invoice but is greyed out and unusable when creating quotes.    Would you be able to enable the WIP button to be used on Quotes as well? Would it be possible to have two time billing rates for employees in their Card File?  One which is GST inclusive and the existing GST exclusive rate. An issue I have is that when I create time billing invoices, the rate showing on the invoice will have multiple decimal points in it rather than the exact GST inclusive rate. For example, if a consultant has a GST inclusive billing rate of $200, then in the consultants card file I have to put the rate as GST EXclusive, so I put 181.818181.  But when that rate flows through to the final invoice when it is created the rates for each entry show as $199.999.   I then have to go through the invoice and manually adjust each entry to read the correct billing rate of $200 exactly. thanks   "GST inclusive Billing Rate for Employees" ...
