I have just upgraded to 2018.2 from V19.xx
I am suddenly receiving a warning when I use Banking > Receive Money to check if it is money for a sale it should be entered as Receive Payment.
Can we please get a fix to disable this warning? All it needs is a dialog box - do not show this warning again.
90% of my company's income is recorded as Receive Money, so suddenly recording the daily income takes twice as long because I have to keep cancelling the warning.

I've only just upgraded to AccountRight 2014.4 from Plus19.10...
It's very frustrating that when you are customising forms...
A few suggestions:
- Enable keyboard shortcuts like CNTL S (save)
- Enable keyboard shortcuts like CNTL Z (undo)
Also... too many dialog boxes when you save...
After manually saving the form, you get a dialog box telling you the file's save which is only cleared by clicking OK with the mouse. - could the save icon be greyed out instead, or a brief message that auto disappears be displayed for a couple of seconds instead.
The biggest frustration though is that when you try to exit the form after you've just saved it you get a dialog box asking if you want to save... surely the software can check if changes have been made and if none don't show the message?

Is it possible to have a setting in preferences that you can choose as a system-wide setting to set the default for remittance advice etc delivery status to 'to be emailed' or which ever option you prefer? This would mean that whenever a new supplier/customer/employee is created or a payment is made etc etc it would already be selected "to be emailed". We use a paperless system for our accounts so NEVER print, however every setting is always default "to be printed". In this day and age more and more companies are going paperless, so this option would be very handy.

Instead of getting out of the Pay Bills window to go do a supplier purchases detail report to see this history of payments - recommend a button in Pay Bills window for quicker view - this would also be useful in Receive Payments window.

As all other documents you open have the close button in the top right corner so I find I constantly accidently close MYOB when I just want to close an invoice window. Please can the invoice close be moved or a cancel button be added to the MYOB close button like many other programs have. It drives me mad!

Here’s what I would like to see:
AR2012 – Item price matrix. I would like to be able to use a in-built formula to calculate the various pricing levels based on Base Price. Exporting the items list to txt, importing into Excel, performing calculations on 3,500 items, saving as txt and re-importing into AccountRight is a pain.

Please add functionality to the 'Sales Register Information Window' under 'Returns and Credits' - by adding the ability to batch/combine multiple credits in 'Pay Refund in one refund payment'.
Example: I often have the issue of receiving multiple automatic payments before a customer stops overpayment's at the end of a service so must combine 2 or more credits in a single cheque or automatic payment in the 'Pay Refund' window. As multiple overpayment's can not be assigned to the same invoice one must create multiple credits. MYOB won't however allow one to do this (combine credits) easily.
Also would be great to be able to do an easy refund by direct credit instead of cheque, as most people prefer that in this day and age, via tapping into the electronic payments window or similar from the 'Pay Refund' window.

It would be useful for those who continue to use similar Jobs for Items to be able to automatically specify a Job Code when the Item is chosen as the Line Item for Sales & Purchases.
What I would like to see:
Under the Buying Details & Sales Details we can choose individual Job Codes for both options.
Choosing a Job Code with a Default Supplier would be handy for automating Stock Alert Ordering.

I would like to be able to print a bank reconciliation report even when there have been no transactions in the period. Currently an information dialogue box displays the text "There's no information to display. Try changing the filters and then run the report.." and nothing can be printed. However, I would like to be able to print a report to file with my banking records which indicates that a reconciliation has been performed and confirm the closing balance.

We are required to show our profit margin on our invoices (we are a builder).
We would love the ability to be able to show our profit margin % and $ figure on our invoices.
We dont use MYOB for invoicing at the moment (its all manual via word document or excel spreadsheet) because the invoicing does not suit a building company that needs to show the profit margin.
Not sure if other builders need this also, but it would be fantastic to have more flexbility with invoices for these senarios.

It's really helpful to us that you have setup to accept online credit card payments but it seems to only be for one invoice. We need this function to accept payment of multiple invoices.
For customers that have 6 or 7 invoices per month it's easier for them to continue paying once by direct deposit, rather than having to pay each invoice seperately by credit card. Will you be setting up the online payment system so people can perhaps click the link and pay off their monthly statements so customers can pay their whole account instead of just one invoice ??

Hi, would it be possible to have the "Supplier Payment History" report to shows the totals on the date they were paid ? If I send this report to a supplier to help reconcile their accounts with ours they have to manually add up the individual invoices.

I cannot fathom why AccountRight wants to spread USER data all over the PC. An difficult task to manage a a good backup.

Backups are saved as PRM0630.zip file which is PRM plus the 2 digit month and 2 digit date.
When backing up, I often get "this file aready exists" do you wish to overwrite.
Can't the year be added to assist with not overwriting previous years file and also with locating correct file for restoring. ie PRM150630.zip

It would be great if you could extend the field length , as imported bank statements (manual imports) have truncated information . In Particular with credit cards, banks provide more info than MYOB 2012 displays

Is there a way that you can do a different bank statement text for each employee bank account?
For example, an employee may have their wages going into 3 different bank accounts (sometimes directly to their rent account), and this requires a specific bank statement text for their real estate agent. It means I have to put this code as the bank statment all 3 of their accounts, rather then being able to have a different one for rent, different one for wages etc
