I do not use the online operations but local (My library). Do I have to update, and if I do, how will this effect the way I do things now?

Hi @54 

Assuming you use payroll then you will need to upgrade to ensure that you’re using the most up to date tax tables for your employees. For local files checking in and out is not available so that wont change. However the changes around payroll, such as not having to close the payroll year are still included as they are with online files.

Do note that you will need to be connected to the internet on that computer so the system can download the latest tax tables
