2023.8 Upgrade Problems

We run AccountRight on a Terminal Server, and have a script that checks for updates and automatically installs them over the weekend.  The script ran yesterday (17/09/23) and successfully upgraded the Terminal Server version to 2023.8.

 

When we now try to open the upgraded online file from the web browser however, we get a message saying "We're currently updating our system to support the latest version of AccountRight on the web browser. Please try accessing again later."

 

Also, when we try to open the file from the PC desktop application, we get an error message saying "The update failed to download or install."

 

I note that the 2023.8 download files also do not appear to be available from the MYOB Software Downloads page on the MYOB website.

 

Can someone from MYOB please explain what is going on with the 2023.8 upgrade?

Hi Doreeen,

 

Thank you for your responses. The link you provided to the MYOB Software Downloads is where I was looking on Monday when I posted my original message, but the 2023.8 files were not there at that stage.

 

The 2023.8 install files appeared on the software downloads page overnight on Monday and were available on Tuesday morning, so the issues with not being able to upgrade our desktop application or open our upgraded file from the web browser are now resolved.
