AR 2020.3 Crashing after upgrading a file

Hi

 

I have a clients file that was sent to me in AR 2020.2, after opening this file and performing the upgrade successfully to AR 2020.3 I find that my version of AR 2020.3 automatically shuts down without any error messages.

 

Do you have any suggestions as to how to go about repairing the file?

When the software crashes, a diagnostic log is generated in the background which has details on why the system is shutting down. It can be retrieved by following the given steps:

 

1. Open your Start Menu on the computer or go to Run desktop app. 
2. Type: %localappdata%
3. Open the %localappdata% folder:

4. Open the MYOB Folder.
5. Open the AccountRight Folder.
6. Open the Version folder (E.g: 2020.3)
7. Open the Diagnostics Folder.

 

The Diagnostic Log file would look like: Huxley.Application_xxxx.log. Copy this file to your Desktop to get to it easier.

Attach this file here so we can investigate this issue further and advise accordingly.

Thank you for attaching the log. There is nothing specific mentioned in it that would point out why the software is crashing. Therefore, we might have to get your file in for testing. So we can organise this, please send me your serial number by a Private Message and I will forward the instructions for uploading a backup of your file.
