AR stuck during upgrade

Another day, another frustrating expereince with tech support. The file got stuck during the upgrade to the latest version. We can't go back and we cant go forwards either. I spoke to Danni who was lovely but she couldnt help without a teamviewer ID and Im not on site. She also needed a serial number (why???) and a customer ID (WHY???) Oh and I never use Teamviewer in my shop either. Why is the upgrade process so complicated? The other software doesnt behave like this. 

 

If the development team are listening, can we please fix this???

The upgrade had finished - when I dont know, there was no message - I only became aware of this the client had attempted to get access from another computer and went straight in. Is there a message thats supposed to show when the upgrade is complete?

Thanks for posting your concern in the forum. 

 

I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties because of the upgrade and I'm happy to hear this is already resolved. Generally, upgrading a file takes just a couple of minutes. If it takes longer and ranges more than two hours, it likely needs intervention as it could have been stuck in the upgrade status. Unfortunately, there is no upgrade finish message, and this will be raised with the development team.

Spoke to my client today. He is still quite annoyed at wasting so much time on this. It would be great if we could just fix it. The other systems just upgrade without any messages. It really isnt necessary.
