Accessing the date from version 2017.1 after already upgrading to 2018.1

Hi, Could somebody help me please... I was using an old version of MYOB (2017.1 ) offline so when I reconciled my bank statement to 31/3/18 and closed the program to go back on online to back up and check in it wouldn't let me back into the old version but only the newer version (2018.1) and of course none of the data I have entered over the past few days is on there. SO my question is how can I access the old version?? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me there is a way so I dont have to re-enter hours worth of work

Hi @nw2018

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of helpful information.

Its possible that when the offline file was returned to being offline, the option to discard changes was chosen.  If this were the case, the file would be returned online exactly as it was when the file was checked out.

Our help article, Checking in without saving changes does step through where to find these discarded files and how to recover them if you need to.

Do let us know how you get on with this

Regards
Neil
