This morning I opened my company file, an upgrade was offered, I accepted this. Now I am unable to open the company file.

I am unable to download the hot fix file - what now?
Also I would really just appreciate a "how to fix and open" so I can get on with the work, sadly I do not need to know the full ins and outs - thanks so much for helping but am still locked out.

Can you please confirm if you're getting any error messages when trying to download the hotfix tool ? If you are, the help article provided above has 2 potential errors that you may occur with information on how to resolve those errors.
If you aren't getting those errors, can you please provide a screenshot of what appears when you attempt to download the tool.

The hot fix file did resolve the issue and enable me to log in. Accessing the file though is a challenge as Windows wouldnt allow a download or save option.
Eventually using this link worked

The hotfix download is a nightmare - somehow Windows download will not complete the download (maybe it has a grebbie attached) - and it took me hours to try and coax it out of Windows.
If anyone needs it just email me privately and I will send it as a zip.

I had this issue so I have reverted to 2022.3. Is there going to be a new upgrade soon rather than stuff things up by upgrading to 2022.4?

Welcome to the Community Forum ! If you're experiencing this you will need to run the hotfix tool over the file to resolve that error, this Community Forum post has information and instructions on this. Once you've run that tool over the file you will be able to open the file as you normally would.
